Former US President Donald Trump has told the truth: I want to be America’s dictator.
Using his Truth Social Internet platform, he claims “massive & widespread fraud & deception” in the 2020 election means “the termination of all rules, regulations, and articles, even those found in the Constitution.”
Is this a call for revolution or the cry of a loser with no sense of reality? His followers will hear it as a revolution. Most Americans will be stunned and appalled by his “honesty.” Of the 44 former US presidents who preceded Trump, none are reported to have ever said this out loud.
This primal scream from an incomplete human being sums up the multitude of treasonous statements and actions that marked his four years of pretending to be a national leader. As Maya Angelou wrote, when someone tells you who they are, believe them. He organized an insurrection. It failed. Now he is calling for a full-scale revolution.
The catch phrase from the TV show Hill Street Blues applies here: Be careful out there. It is dangerous.
