Senator Elizabeth Warren sent this email out to get ready to boot republican anti-choice Dem R Henry Cuellar from whose home FBI agents marched, carrying numerous boxes of documents. Last time around, immigration lawyer Jessica Cisneros only lost the primary by 3 percentage points. In a state like West Virginia, there is an argument that we have to settle for a very conservative (I am being kind here) democrat. No such argument applies to this district which is blue and becoming more blue demographically because of those who have long lived in the district. Cuellar’s broadside attack against Cisneros and AOC is as republican an attack as you can get. It makes it clear as day that he holds a republican view on policy. He has stayed in due to his ability to bring in money for the district which is not bad, in and of itself. It’s not good in this situation because it is enabling somebody to continue to represent the district even though that person is far out of step with the district. Now, after the FBI agents spectacle, it appears clear that Cuellar would have a hard time holding the seat despite how blue it is because of the FBI agents event. It seems clear that Cisneros would have a far easier time winning this seat.
Here is what Cuellar said about Cisneros and AOC: “ The voters will decide this election not far left celebrities who stand for defunding the police, open borders, eliminating oil & gas jobs, raising taxes on hard working Texans “
AOC responded , “ Well, since he decided to bring me into this, Did you know that Cuellar is an anti-choice Dem in a state where women and LGBTQ+ repro rights are under attack. This district has only gotten bluer, too. It’s 2022. We really don’t have to settle for rock bottom. Vote @JCisneros“
.
Senator Warren writes, “

Tuesday, February 22, 2022
Doors Open: 4:45pm CST
Start Time: 5:30pm CST
The Cherrity Bar

The people of Texas’s 28th District deserve a Democrat who will fight for their families, not on the side of big money and obstructionist Republicans — and Jessica is exactly that Democrat.
She’ll be a champion for working people in Congress, but first, we’ve got to make sure she wins this primary election.
Early voting is already underway, and the primary is coming right up on March 1. It’s crunch time. So Robert, let’s show Jessica that we’re in this fight by her side.
Sign up here if you can join me and Jessica next Tuesday — grab a snack, get fired up, and head to the polls to cast your vote early!
Thanks for being a part of this,
Elizabeth
P.S. If you can't attend, please consider making a contribution to Jessica's campaign and help power her get-out-the-vote efforts. “
Here is more information about this outstanding candidate
jessicacisnerosforcongress.com/…
“Jessica Cisneros is a proud Mexican-American immigration and human rights attorney running for Congress in Texas’ 28th district to fight for working families.
Jessica made a commitment at an early age to become an advocate for families like her own and protect the rights of immigrants and working people.
She earned her undergraduate degree from the University of Texas at Austin and her law degree from the University of Texas School of Law, where she specialized in immigration law. For her leadership and commitment to keeping immigrant families safe and together, Jessica was awarded the Texas Law Fellowships Excellence in Public Interest Award, the Pro Bono Award, the Chicano/Hispanic Law Students’ Association’s Spirit of Community Award, and the Dean’s Achievement Award for most outstanding student in the field of Immigration Law.
During her time in law school, Jessica served as a Pro Bono Scholar and worked with UT faculty to create the Women in Immigration Detention Assistance Project, which assisted asylum seekers at the Hutto Detention Center in Taylor, Texas, and she clerked at the United States Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) in San Antonio, Texas.“
Remember Cuellar can’t win after the notoriety he gained when law enforcement (FBI Agents) went into his home with search warrants and brought out dozens of boxes of evidence. Cisneros is not only a better choice; she’s the only one who can actually win !
