Last week’s image:
If you went to DENFiles.com, you can see this image as well as several more that they’ve put up to try and make humorous the seemingly endless project to modify and improve security at DIA.
For those of you who might have missed last week’s Open Thread, I’m going to be posting a new image every week to show something from our wonderful state of Colorado. These images may be things, places, events, people, animals or anything else that I might happen to find in my photo files. I certainly hope I get submissions from other Coloradans but I do require that they be identifiable as being taken in Colorado and something particular (iow, not an image of a deer with an non-descript background and we’re being asked where that picture was taken. However, if the deer has the distinctive mountains of the Flatirons behind it, that would be fine). Please send me any submissions direct to my gmail account of colotim2010 at gmail.com and also let me know by a Kosmail message or comment in a diary that you’ve sent me your picture so that I can know to go check gmail.
This is an open thread, so please, enjoy what I’ve put up and let me know what’s on your mind in the comments down below. Also, I would appreciate your helping spread the word about the Colorado State Open Thread (published at 7PM Mountain time every Monday evening) because from Daily Kos records, there have been multiple hundred thousand people who have put down a zip code from Colorado when they’ve come to this site, and we’ve had far fewer than that come and post what’s going on of interest to them. I’d really enjoy more input.
For discussion, a short time ago we discussed the taking of water to supply a large land development around Parker and Castle Rock. Now, apparently the development says they aren't going to need the water and they have plenty. As a result Senators Bennett and Hickenlooper have delivered a letter to the stat including to Governor Polis asking him to take action and deny the permit. For more, see www.coloradopolitics.com/…
Democrat Adam Frisch has now also tossed his hat in the Democratic primary contest to take on Lauren Boebert in CO3. r.search.yahoo.com/... Does anyone know more about him than what's at this link and would anyone like to make a recommendation about who they might think is best to send Boebert off to her next grift? Is that even possible this year or does she really need to make even more hatred over there before we can get rid of that stain? Or will a Republican take care of her before Democrats have to?
I look forward to any speculation, comments and or suggestions. The floor, as always, is yours.
