4 years ago I was a very, very sad guy. Cash, the brother of Tango and my constant companion, crossed over the rainbow bridge. Not a day that goes by that I am not in someway reminded of the Brothers.
Tango, my very outgoing furball who helped me detect a seizure before it hit had passed 4 years prior, but Cash lived to the age of 14.
I wish the loss of a beloved pet got easier to deal with as time goes on but this is far from two with my lovable rapscallions.
I end by sharing the original post I wrote on Facebook. It is so important you give your cat love and snuggles everyday since you can never tell when that sad day will come.
For those of you who have not heard Cash crossed over the rainbow bridge. The last week he lost a pound he could not afford to live, he had problems with control of his bowels and stomach and he kept hiding during the day to be alone. He was my constant companion for the last 14 years and not a day or morning when I went to sleep or woke up was he not side by side to me, and whenever I was sitting during the day he was on my stomach. Sigh.
