And I know that is always Trouble (with a capital “T”) as my dear departed pappy would tell me. However, I can’t help but wonder why? Why did The Supreme Court suddenly decide to ‘Pull Roe v Wade’ at this time? Why did they use the idea that something like privacy is not in the constitution, and therefore not a right.
As noted by several outlets, there was no need for this decision They were supposed to rule on the Constitutionality of the pro-birth Laws created out of whole cloth in Mississippi. Now suddenly they have decided that ‘we the people’ have no rights to privacy, or autonomy. Only the Party Elites have such rights.
As I was sitting, down some political writing I was struck by one thing, If they make that decision — that there is no such right to privacy or autonomy — while there can be several reasons for it, there is one that is standa out to me.
Here I must digress a bit, but as those who follow me know I consistently refer to the Republicans as “Re-Stalin-Can’ts” or NARZI’s, or some other such “Totalitarian” names because since the 1-6-20 event — aka the insurrection — it has become intuitively obvious to casual observer “They are become Shiva, destroyer of worlds”; Ref 1 and a “Totalitarian Fascist Movement”. What is the one thing, common to all such Movements?
The right to privacy is lost. No totalitarian movement can allow any party member to have an opinion that that is not of the Parties wish. In order to keep them in line, they must have a means to spy on the populace and they only way they are going to get the sympathizers to buy it, is by making sure the outer party and Proles have no expectiation of privacy. Already the Government claims it has the right to spy on you just because they want to. “So get over it” they tell us “what you yelling for, lay back it all been done before”.
The key to me is this. In order for the Republicans — if they ever gain control of the Government again — to be able to spy on the American People they must remove that right and expectation of privacy, In order to ensure that nobody can run to a “Liberal court” — if they could find one — and say “The Government is spying on me for no reason”, the must ensure “There is no such right”.
Again, this is not really anything new, but there is in fact a line that I run across in the opening of 1984 by George Orwell, which seems to be the perfect example.
Behind Winston's back the voice from the telescreen was still babbling away about pig-iron and the overfulfilment of the Ninth Three-Year Plan. The telescreen received and transmitted simultaneously. Any sound that Winston made, above the level of a very low whisper, would be picked up by it, moreover, so long as he remained within the field of vision which the metal plaque commanded, he could be seen as well as heard. There was of course no way of knowing whether you were being watched at any given moment. How often, or on what system, the Thought Police plugged in on any individual wire was guesswork. It was even conceivable that they watched everybody all the time. But at any rate they could plug in your wire whenever they wanted to. You had to live — did live, from habit that became instinct — in the assumption that every sound you made was overheard, and, except in darkness, every movement scrutinized.
1984 — Part one, Chapter one — George Orwell
Why that line? Because it wont’ make a difference if you do, or do not get ‘scrutinized’, once the idea is installed in our heads that we have no rights except what the Elite grant us through thier benevolance, we are then “Self Governing”. That is we will fall in line with the CrimeStop, Blackwhite and double thinking (See below for the examples from 1984 — Ref 2).
Now, while we have ‘Smart T.V.’s that can listen, do they have the ability to Watch us also? Probably but since we do have cameras tiny enough that could be mounted in any and every room, and then tied into the Internet of Things (IOT) there is no need for the TV (telescreen) to do it, per se. How do we know there is this Technology? China already has it and is using it for just that purpose. We already know that we have Corporations like Palantir, who are working on even “better systems” here in the U.S. I say Better in quotes as I do not believe anything of that nature is “Better” for anyone.
There is only ‘one problem’, getting it inside the ‘castle’ so to speak . Ok, for the Sympathizers they will willing install cameras on their own, just because they believe that by having such a system, it will protect them. That just leaves folks like me and some others. It ain’t happening, unless they send a goon Squad with installers.
However, we nearly all of us have one thing that will do as good, your Cell Phone. And in fact, tied into the police networks by the Spying Devices they have, they can open and search your phone without you even knowing it.
Your Phone Is Secretly Always Recording: How to Stop Google From Listening
Is Google always listening on your phone? Here are the facts and how to stop Google from listening to you.
And here is that hot little sausage on a bun for all to see, we wouldn’t allow it except that once the SCotUS has decreed that we have no rights to privacy, then it is simply a matter of having the phone companies turn it on when they get a fizzy feeling up their backside and want to check on us.
At first, it will only be “females of the Child Bearing age” to make sure they aren’t A) working on their own without permission from ‘their Man”, B) going some place where the Evangies/Front Groups would disapprove, or C) they aren’t taking medications which will get rid of the HitlerJungand they are carrying by decree. Once that has been established, then it’s only another little poem about us ‘not speaking out’ because we weren’t Female of child bearing age.
And if we “turn off the Phone” sooner or later the Mini-Love will catch on and tells the phone company to ‘turn it back on’, sending the message “We are the Law, you are just a citizen, you will see the number of fingers we tell you to”. Lets also not forget, there will be spying devices all over the place just waiting to record the fact that you passed by it and your phone didn’t respond.
No it won’t happen over night or even in a few weeks. But once they have decreed that all citizens must submit themselves for 24/7/365 inspections because you have no rights, the Government has them all, it will be a slow turn in attitude — like watching black mold spread throughout a house with damp walls — as we all ‘learn to accept Big Brother as our savior. In fact, this smells a whole lot like the trick Newt the Nut tried to pull with Bill Clinton. One well know socialist author pointed out that the whole reason for the Impeachment of Clinton, was not to get rid of him, but to break the bonds of power, and smear him and along with Clinton, Gore, such that the “American people” would see them as “ineffectual, and lacking in power” and that the “power” would descend to the third in line, the Speaker of the house, which “just by happenstance” would be Newt the Nut. (Oh gee, did I get all the power? How interesting, how did that happen?)
Rest assured that the Federalists who stuffed the SCotUS are currently one with the Totalitarian movement, aka the Republican party.
As such we will have to learn to live like Winston, knowing that at anytime, anywhere, the Government can and will scrutinize every movement and sound, to see if your being a ‘Good Citizen’, just like China, Russia, North Korea, and others.
And a side note: One of the reason that I am so concerned with all of this, is with Re-stalin-Can’t party working to remove ‘our right to vote’ sinc we are not ‘the right voters’, I can also see where they are setting it up so that if the results aren’t to their liking, they can use thier useful to tools to declare an “Alternative Victory” and install only Re-Stalin-can’t party elites even when we voted them out of office.
As Beau of the Fifth Column says “It’s just a thought”.

What opinions the masses hold, or do not hold, is looked on as a matter of indifference. They can be granted intellectual liberty because they have no intellect. In a Party member, on the other hand, not even the smallest deviation of opinion on the most unimportant subject can be tolerated.

In Oceania there is no law. Thoughts and actions which, when detected, mean certain death are not formally forbidden, and the endless purges, arrests, tortures, imprisonments, and vaporizations are not inflicted as punishment for crimes which have actually been committed, but are merely the wiping-out of persons who might perhaps commit a crime at some time in the future. A Party member is required to have not only the right opinions, but the right instincts. Many of the beliefs and attitudes demanded of him are never plainly stated, and could not be stated without laying bare the contradictions inherent in Ingsoc. If he is a person naturally orthodox (in Newspeak a goodthinker), he will in all circumstances know, without taking thought, what is the true belief or the desirable emotion. But in any case an elaborate mental training, undergone in childhood and grouping itself round the Newspeak words crimestop, blackwhite, and doublethink, makes him unwilling and unable to think too deeply on any subject whatever.
