Actually, Trump has taken all bona fide patriots, all responsible and accountable democracy advocates, and all blindly believing people-blinkers running after people-blinkers hostage intellectually and emotionally by forcing all persons in the U.S., without asking, and without their input, and largely against their will, into the haze of his moral depravity when he said the could kill someone on 5th Av. and no one would say anything. How many Americans were waiting for some politician or prosecutor to pick this up? And how many document officers have hoped for an immediate reaction from superiors, and how many weeks and months and years have had to pass before a first whiff of consternation and first inkling of the egregious treason of Trump and his cohorts has led to the assessment that the secret work and protection of state documents are more important than Trump's threat after all? "You've said nothing for so long, you're just as guilty as I am - you've tolerated my illegal actions for so long, you've conveniently done nothing for so long, why haven't you stopped me, you've been shouting out protest at home in your coalmine for so long, and now I'm supposed to tell the truth to my millions of Maga supporters in the Washington Post alone, even if they don't read it at all? You have, after all, signaled to me by your reticence that you would do it the same way if you were Me - so: You are like Me!"
(Memo from TFG: But, I can assure you, so personally not much jumped out for me. Through the BungaBungaLow channel, my friend Vlad lent me many spies as a reward, but as in the good old Soviet times, they were all deserving fighters for the cause and the Party - none were under 65. PS: Ghislaine went to prison rather than manage that.")
