Welcome to what is the 1253rd original profile here at “Fanatical Republican Extremist of the Day”, where we’ll be profiling Robert Foster, a former one-term member of the Mississippi House of Representatives from 2015-2019 who was also a failed candidate for Governor of Mississippi, losing in the GOP Primary to eventual winner Tate Reeves.
We’ll keep this one short… with the Republican Party having devolved into a cabal of fascist, bigoted twits… Robert Foster, during his time as a state legislator authored a new bill allowing firing squads, the electric chair, and gas chamber to be employed again as a means of execution in his state… started calling for the firing squad for his political foes, in particular supporters of trans rights. While we wouldn’t say they deserve the death penalty, if this guy wanted to punish someone, he should be looking for whoever does his hair. But no, he’ll talk about killing LGBTQ allies and yell his head off about “groomers”, because that’s the sort of lies his party has to survive on these days. When a fellow Republican called him out on his hate, Foster turned his ire on his critic and declared him “a RINO who conceded power to communists”, and said that executing LGBTQ allies was just “early divine judgment”.
Go figure, he has issues with women in general, refusing to be alone with a female reporter unless she brought a male colleague along. A regular Mike Pence, this guy.
Robert Foster got only 17% of the vote in the GOP Primary that year, and has not yet returned to office, instead just screaming about the LGBTQ community. He remains a hate crime waiting to happen.
