A Ukrainian JDAM takes out a Russian command post in Nova Mayachka, which is southeast of Krynky on the left bank of the Dnipro River and east of the Oleshky Sands park.
Nice shiny new mortars from Spain. Only the best shrapnel for the occupiers.
Hmm. I wonder what happened to this volunteer.
As reported by Russian combatant Romanov, the man took many photos of the freshwater delivery he had made to Kreminna from Russian territory, and published on his channel on 14 November. Ukrainians carried out geolocation of the concealed position, which turned out to be a gas station, and shelled it continuously for several days.
Sucks when you’re trying to sleep and somebody throws a grenade through your window.
Drones take out Russian armor on the left bank of the Dnipro River near Oleshky.
Translation:
Operators of the attack UAVs of the 14th separate regiment of the Armed Forces destroy enemy armored vehicles on the left bank of the Dnieper in the so-called Oleshkah
I’ll bet it still had that new car smell when it blew up.
No body, no money. Very convenient for Russia.
4/ This is often necessary when there is not enough left of the deceased to identify. In one case, a 50-year-old physical education teacher with no combat experience signed a volunteer's contract at the end of July 2022 and was almost immediately made a tank commander.
5/ He died on 4 October 2022 in a battle near Nova Kakhovka in the Kherson region when he was hit by a shell while leaning out of his tank. His comrades saw him reduced to fragments, but could not retrieve his remains.
6/ The man's 18-year-old son brought a case in May 2023 to have his father declared dead, and won. In August 2023, the man's bones were brought back to Russia along with those of dozens of other soldiers retrieved from the battlefield.
UPDATE on the concert for Russian marines that was cut short by a Ukrainian missile:
Ukraine confirmed the strike.
Recently, the Defense Forces of Ukraine successfully inflicted fire damage on a cluster of Russian invaders from the 810th Marine Brigade.
According to reports from the Russian side, at the time of the attack, the occupiers gathered to celebrate the so-called Day of the Russian Artilleryman.
The Defense Forces of Ukraine promptly identified the venue for the Russians' festive events and warmly congratulated them!
Russian propagandists claim that several dozens of occupants were killed at the same time with a well-aimed blow, and about a hundred were seriously injured.
An interesting exchange.
Artillery ammunition is getting to be a problem. Europe can’t keep up because about 40% of their artillery ammunition production is already contracted to other countries. Drones could compensate somewhat but it’s difficult to scale up enough production to meet the need.
It’s also interesting that tree lines have become so crucial that they have been given names.
Bulgaria steps up.
Russia is in trouble now.
For those who may have missed this video in Mark’s update today. The audio from Aerosmith’s “Dream On” is especially well-choreographed with the explosion.
It ain’t Patriot, but it ain’t bad.
This Russian howitzer won’t be self-propelling itself anywhere.
Speaking of self-propelled howitzers, this one done blowed up good.
A rare Russian hit job that did not involve an open window or a cup of tea.
Ukraine needs a missile with a range sufficient enough to reach the Iranian factory that makes Shaheeds.
I don’t know if Iran is using Vanta Black on these, but if they are that would make them much harder to spot but also very expensive to make. Vanta Black is a coating that is said to be the world’s darkest and purportedly absorbs more than 99.9% of light.
"Here now there is already news that Iran is producing a new Shahed with a jet engine, with different radar guidance [...] This Shahed is very reactive. It's painted in a black matte color, which could make it even harder for visual detection. I don't know if the Russian Federation will receive them, but these states have experience with this."
Gosh, must be hard to find Russians driving drunk. (sarcasm alert)
Ukrainian troops are greeted by residents on the left bank of the Dnipro River.
Residents pay their respects even in crappy weather.
Night time in the trenches.
