US District Court Judge Colleen Kollar-Kotelly (DC) yesterday ordered Peter Navarro to produce between 200 and 250 digital documents from an encrypted email account. He had insisted upon a grant of immunity as a precondition for returning the Presidential Records Act (PRA) materials and has been ordered to comply by the judge.

It is unclear exactly what the contents of the emails pertain to, and could prove damaging to Trump as he faces other legal challenges amid a 2024 presidential bid. The National Archives and Records Administration (NARA) first became aware of the emails on the private account through a House investigation into the White House's coronavirus pandemic response.
Navarro both didn’t comply with the Presidential Records Act to forward emails to NARA, *AND* he used a private email account (ProtonMail, Switzerland†) while working for the White House.
He also (with those in his office) actively participated in the plan to overturn the 2020 election, including attempting to implicate Dominion Voting Systems and Smartmatic in alleged vote manipulation. (e.g. The Big Lie)
(The Guardian)
The Dominion report made a number of unsubstantiated allegations that claimed Dominion Voting Systems corruptly ensured there could be “technology glitches which resulted in thousands of votes being added to Joe Biden’s total ballot count”.
Citing unnamed Venezuelan officials, the report also pushed the conspiracy theory that Dominion Voting Systems used software from the election company Smartmatic and had ties to “state-run Venezuelan software and telecommunications companies”.
Makes you wonder what was in those 1700 emails that met NARA search terms and the 200-250 he is now ordered to produce.
