The Washington Post story (which I will not link to because it is behind a firewall), indicated that ‘Original Gangsta’ Jack Teixeira’s motive for sharing top secret documents (some so sensitive that they may have compromised deeply placed Russian assets), was to impress teenagers in the group that he controlled. In a breaking story, it appears that Trump’s motivation for hoarding top secret documents was also to impress people.
A 21 year old gamer who so desperately wanted to impress and be idolized by a group of young gamers and a 76 year old man-child, with a deep need to be ‘loved’ seem to have the same motivation — No matter the potential costs to human life, American Intelligence, political fallout, and the absolute illegality of it, these two infantile men used top secret military intelligence to ‘impress’ people with their ‘access’ (clearly undeserved in both cases).
I’m not a psychologist, but they both appear to be people who have a deep-seated inferiority complex — which is ok if you are a rock star (Here and here), a housewife, or a failed influencer, but incredibly dangerous if you hold (or held) the keys to power or information.
Interestingly enough, the right wing crazies (wait, isn’t that the same thing?) are already starting to defend the young Mr. Tiexeria as being unfairly persecuted:
“Jake Teixeira is white, male, Christian, and antiwar. That makes him an enemy to the Biden regime,” — Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-Ga.)
Wait, what?
I hate that in this era, the terms ‘unprecedented’ and ‘You cant make this up’ are heard … every … single … day.
