We all remember Arnold Schwarzenegger as the former republican governor of California. Now, I don’t know much about how he ran the state, but he is now saying something that makes me wonder if perhaps we might benefit from paying attention to.
He recently said, in a conference in Austria that those of us concerned about the damage we are doing to our natural resources are using the wrong terminology trying to encourage needed changes.
The climate change we are rightly concerned about is actually due to pollution. He suggests that if we change our words to clarify that we are fighting pollution as the bottom line, we might get more support.
I am simply running this by here to see what the thoughts are about this as a possibly. Sometimes, it is true, that the words and phrases we use may be changed and result in more support? Is this a possible example?
Could Democrats possibly influence more people by changing the phrasing? Is it something we might look out and profit from?? What do you think?
