Some abortion takes:
The pro-life issue in America specifically is something to be very hard-line about because of the ‘peculiar institution’ of chattel slavery. In a country in which forced impregnation and child-bearing was an economic engine, there is absolutely no excuse for arguing against the existence of a right to not be pregnant. I will struggle to suffer pro-lifers as anything short of ignorant and poorly educated on the issue.
Particularly interested in how pro-lifers might now tend to downgrade the importance of the issue now that Roe was overturned. Everything seems set up for Dems to dominate public opinion by pointing to the abortion issue as the courts and especially the Supreme Court remain packed with conservatives for the next 10 or 20 years.
