Ukraine launched a special ops mission in the same area of Crimea where the night before they blew the crap out of an S-400 missile complex.
Tokmak is going to experience some things.
This is trench warfare up close. WARNING: This video shows Russian soldiers being shot.
Folks with the U.S. government think Prigozhin’s plane went kaboom thanks to a bomb planted on board as opposed to a surface-to-air missile.
You’d think Prigozhin would have security folks who would look for such things. Don’t they make people take off their shoes before boarding?
The plane carrying Yevgeny Prigozhin, the head of the Wagner paramilitary group, crashed as the result of an assassination plot but doesn’t appear to have been shot down by a surface-to-air missile, U.S. officials said.
The preliminary U.S. government assessments, which officials stressed are incomplete, suggest that a bomb exploded on the aircraft or that some other form of sabotage caused the crash northwest of Moscow.
The Russian government has said it is investigating the cause of the crash, but hasn’t offered an explanation. Social-media channels close to Prigozhin’s Wagner have claimed that the aircraft was downed by a Russian military antiaircraft missile.
Some interesting thoughts on the future of Wagner:
First of all, it means Russia will become weaker. A dangerous, cunning, determined, and clever enemy of Ukraine in the person of Prigozhin has been eliminated. He was capable of unconventional approaches and solutions in complex situations - something that neither Putin, Shoigu, Gerasimov, nor their subordinates are capable of.
hose war criminals - soldiers and officers of the Russian army, as well as mercenaries from other PMCs who fought against Ukraine and were inspired by Prigozhin and Utkin are now demotivated.
As one such stoned bastard wrote yesterday in his Telegram channel: "It's not clear whether the Hero of Russia Yevgeny Viktorovich Prigozhin was on board, but if he was, then pack your belongings, and we don't f*cking need this war".
Wagner PMC as a fighting unit no longer exists, as it was held on the iron will and bloody traditions of Prigozhin and Utkin. The remnants of Wagnerites will be persecuted and will seek salvation by being recruited into the service of dictatorial regimes in Africa, Asia, and Latin America, guarding bloody diamond mining and drug production in the jungle.
Of course, they will be offered to sign a contract with Shoigu and go to war against Ukraine, but I think not many will agree to this, as few will want to give their lives again for Putin, whom they hate and who killed their leaders.
Tens of thousands of families of the destroyed and wounded Wagnerites, who previously received payments through Prigozhin's structures, will now receive nothing. This will further increase social tensions and the level of internal destabilization in Russia, which, of course, is to our advantage. Also, this public execution will increase tension and uncertainty among the Kremlin elites.
I also do not rule out and would like very much if a small secret group were to be created among the most loyal to Prigozhin and Utkin Wagnerites, which would set upon itself the task to take revenge on Putin, Shoigu, and Gerasimov at any cost and liquidate them according to the laws of bandit bloody vengeance.
A “difficult fate” indeed.
Good tip to remember in case you are ever shot down over Russia — they can still identify your body if you have Nazi tattoos.
Boo fucking hoo.
More heartfelt grief over the death of Yevgeny Viktorovich.
LEAVE YEVGENY ALONE!!!!!!!
Maybe Putin should put in a claim.
Russia is going to run out of migrants to feed into the meat grinder at the rate this war is going.
Russian bloggers seem gleeful at seeing migrants being swept up.
Norway joins Denmark and the Netherlands in supplying F-16s to Ukraine. Norway is supplying 12, which brings the total to 73. The U.S., Greece and Portugal will also be training pilots.
And add 1 Bayraktar TB2 as a birthday present.
They’re going to learn English in Texas!?!? OMG. I suppose they’ll become Cowboys fans too.
This guy would fit right in in many parts of America.
I posted a video of this yesterday that didn’t have subtitles. After seeing this one and reading it I have some new thoughts about it, so I’m posting it again.
This soldier is really just a kid — 19 years old. In the first part of the video where he is bragging about capturing a Ukrainian vehicle he is trying to fit in with his comrades, which is pretty normal behavior for a young soldier, seems to me. In the second part of the video after he is captured, he’s scared, telling his captors that he’s just 19. They tell him he’ll be OK.
It’s a good thing that he was captured. That means he’ll live. He won’t be threatened with death if he tries to retreat. He won’t be killed by shrapnel and left to rot on the battlefield or have his body fed into a mobile crematorium while his family is told he is “missing.”
He can eventually go back home and have a family and maybe live in a peaceful Russia one day. Hopefully that’s what happens.
Rest in peace.
Normally I would say that sending balloons into the air is a bad idea because animals tend to find them when they come down and try to eat them.
But there probably isn’t a better way to send a message to the occupied east bank in Kherson Oblast.
