Go here to get more detail on Jack’s PAC investigation:

Andrew Weismann — Pre-trial seizure orders of funds can be obtained, after a showing to a judge that fraud has occurred in the obtainment of those funds. There can be both civil and criminal forfeiture, if a court decides so.
And this appears to be what Jack Smith may be heading toward……..
This is a whole new wrinkle……
Trump can continue to lie, perniciously and fruitlessly (he ain’t gaining any new voters), but he may just get his lawyer-fee money-hose turned off by a court, thanks to Jack Smith. Or, should I say, thanks to Trump’s many criminal activities……...
Though I don’t see why Trump can’t just get a new PAC started up called “Keep Trump Out of Jail PAC.” But people might be less inclined to donate, knowing that their previous donations had been mis-used.
Oh who am I kidding? His donors don’t care what Dear Leader uses their money for. He could wipe his furry ass with it, and they’d still be thrilled.
However, PAC’s still do have the limiting legal feature that there cannot be coordination between a campaign and the PAC.
And these new revelations just might stop NEW donors from giving.
Anyway, spending all your money trying to keep your candidate out of prison, doesn’t leave much for an actual campaign. But, then again, Trump has no new ideas. No new policies. No real coordination with House R’s or the RNC, other than *“KEEP ME OUT OF PRISON!!1!!”*
Donnie REALLY doesn’t want to go to prison
He is the de facto leader of his political party. But all he’s done since 2018 is LOSE.
As former President Donald Trump's legal woes mount, the line between his criminal defense and his 2024 presidential campaign is blurring, a political and financial muddying that The Washington Post projects will only worsen as multiple prosecutions continues to dominate his time, resources and messaging.
[...]
"What is likely to come is a campaign like the country has never seen before: A candidate juggling multiple criminal indictments while slashing the Department of Justice and his opponents, shuttling between early primary states for rallies and courtrooms for hearings, and spending his supporters' money on both millions of dollars' worth of campaign ads and burgeoning legal bills," according to the Post.
[...]
Just over half the money Trump raised last quarter went to a campaign-affiliated political action committee that is covering his legal bills. According to the latest report to the Federal Election Commission, of the more than $35 million raised between March and June, the campaign received $17.7 million. The remainder went to the Save America PAC, which will report its latest finances on July 31 but had reportedly been spending millions on attorneys for Trump and his allies amid his bevy of ongoing cases, FEC disclosures show.
"A lot of money is going to legal and people who don't do much, and not a lot is left over to do marketing and advertising," one anonymous Trump advisor told the Post. "A lot of the money we're raising is just going to legal."
And to add to Trump’s woes,
His PAC wants their money BACK!
Save America, one of former President Donald Trump’s political organizations, is seeking a US$60 million refund from Make America Great Again, Inc., another Trump political organization that is less strictly regulated by federal rules.
Save America has paid Trump’s legal fees connected to multiple investigations into alleged criminal activities and is now down to less than $4 million in its account, The New York Times reported on July 31, 2023. It started 2022 with $105 million in the bank.
Trump’s use of political action committees, often known as PACs, to pay his mounting legal fees has raised questions about these organizations and how they spend money.
And that money would come from his campaign.
More lawyers.
More lawsuits.
And then there’s this FORGOTTEN fraud case trial, which begins in January, 2024:
Here’s a couple of Trump trial trackers, to help you sleep at night:

Then there’s the swing-state BIG-donors, who are NOT happy about any of this.
Insight: Swing state Republicans bleed donors and cash over Trump's false election claims

July 5 (Reuters) - Real estate mogul Ron Weiser has been one of the biggest donors to the Michigan Republican Party, giving $4.5 million in the recent midterm election cycle. But no more.
Weiser, former chair of the party, has halted his funding, citing concerns about the organization's stewardship. He says he doesn't agree with Republicans who promote falsehoods about election results and insists it's "ludicrous" to claim Donald Trump, who lost Michigan by 154,000 votes in 2020, carried the state.
