Raw Story publishes a new look at the connections Trump has had, over many, many years, of blabbing relation with first the USSR and later Russia. The “Spiderman Senses” of traitorous behavior have been tingling for decades, and rightfully so.
The author, Thom Hartman, lays out the time lines, circumstances and visible consequences of trump’s betrayal from his early days of his relationship to his Czechoslovakian wife, Ivanka in the 1980’s up to today.
All of the clues of the traitor’s acts were strong signals to the world’s intelligence communities that here was a person with so much access to so many valuable secrets, that just putting in just a little effort would gain huge returns — and hurt their enemies greatly. So, with a few promotional trips to the Soviet Bloc, a lot of ego stroking and certain whispers in the orange one’s ear would do what decades of espionage built upon to become toxic to Russia’s (and Turkey’s and Syria’s) enemies. In short, trump was the biggest spy with the largest impact against US interests ever.
Rudy Giuliani successfully prosecuted the members of the Italian mafia in NY, which left a vacuum of crime power, soon filled by the Russian organized crime operations. Giuliani convicted people with the same heritage he possessed only to hand the reins of power over to a different group of criminals with ties to Russia. They were very appreciative.
Newly minted Russian oligarchs in the US were still under the control of the Motherland and paid homage to her, especially her dictator-leader, V. V. Putin. Real estate is very well-suited for laundering ill-begotten money, and the easiest mark to use for that regard (in New York and later South Florida) just happened to be the senseless fool Russia tapped in 1987 — DJ Trump.
Over the years, the “relationship” between stooge and handler only became more solid with trump more enabled and more willing to sell out his own country. Russian leaders only had to celebrate with champagne and caviar the entire time, because trump was able to inflict so much damage without them having to do anything nor cost them anything except say thank you.
Putin was trained for handling trump. Putin resigned his commission in the KGB about 60 days before the USSR imploded. He was Lt. Colonel of the First Directorate, the arm regarding intelligence and propaganda. He knew how to control trump because it was case-study of asset recruitment and intelligence retrieval. What is surprising to everyone is how easy the job became due to Donny’s stupidity and lack of understanding fueled by his incessant need for approval (Thanks, Fred).
Going forward, the level of betrayal, the cost in national security and the shear number of lives lost due to trump’s traitorous acts will only explode exponentially. Yet, as Hartman states, the public will never find out the most damaging results, because the levels of security broken would be too dangerous to mention — meaning our best died and never will be known how to grieve their losses, nor the nation’s loss.
The damage trump has inflicted upon the US as well the world deserves greater attention. Such attention needs prosecution upon that level as well as what is being sought in several jurisdictions. Maybe, the stolen documents case will bring in evidence of espionage conducted while in office, regardless, national security was greatly damaged and trump must pay.
