You might find this interesting. It always make me smile when the ‘Trump plumbers’ fall flat on their legal cans.
Trump GETS AWFUL NEWS on Hearing as Co-Defendant has TOTAL BREAKDOWN
MediasTouch -- Sep 3, 2023
What was Mark Meadows worst decision this past week :
A) waiving his 5th amendment right and testifying to get his Georgia state criminal case to federal court;
B) not properly preparing to testify;
C) perjuring himself on cross examination; or
D) doing it again when HIS OWN LAWYERS tried to ask him questions to clean it up.
Michael Popok of Legal AF explains which one may lead to him losing AND getting convicted, and cooperating against Trump.
Here is a partial Transcript Michael Popok’s “hot takes” on some of the most crucial ways Mark Meadows really screwed up in court. This was the predictable result of his desperate attempt to get a change of venue, for his Georgia RICO trial to be reassigned to Federal courts:

Fani Willis' DA people got a chance at cross-examining him -- and he folded like a cheap suit, like a rented card table. That's what happened to Mark Meadows.
The question should have been anticipated by Mark Meadows and his lawyer. He should have been able to answer it.
But he lied. As if he didn't know about the fact that there were emails and other written documents, that were completely counter to his position. Making him a liar, and allowing her and her team to impeach him on the stand.
He said 'he had no role at all in the Fake Electors, or coordinating the Fake Electors'. And he completely took himself out of the mix — and said 'that's campaign stuff, that's not me. I'm Chief of Staff. I do Chief of Staff type things. I do Chief of Staff presidential type things. I don't do campaign things.'
Well we know that's a lie. There's plenty of evidence — just in the Jan 6th Committee Report and testimony. And other things that have come out through Jack Smith's grand jury: That Mark Meadows and Donald Trump sat and listened to a presentation by two outside consultants, hired by Donald Trump for several million dollars, to look into his 'fraud theories'. And they came back and reported that all of his 'fraud theories' were you know what — none of them were true. There was no fraud in the Election that would have be dispositive, meaning not enough to overcome Joe Biden's Electoral advantage, or vote counting advantage.
You know who sat in on that — and I have been reporting this on Legal AF for over a year — Mark Meadows!
Mark Meadows was the chief liaison between Donald Trump and the Trump campaign -- between the operations of the West Wing and the operations of the campaign.
So how could Mark Meadows say with a straight face — in front of Federal Judge who is standing in judgment of him, and evaluating him as a witness — how could he say: "I had no role in the Fake Electors scheme" ... ?
When he knew, or should have known, there is an email from him, forwarding Ken Chesebro, the half-baked constitutional scholar on Donald Trump's Team -- Mark Meadows circulated Ken Chesebro's Memo about the Fake Electors scheme; how to cling to power; how to make Jan 6 chaotic. So that no vote is certified -- and that the decision on who to elect as president, gets turned over to the states' Houses -- who are predominantly republican. And therefore Trump would get the presidency.

Popek then goes into John Eastman's latest excuse “that all he wanted was a 2 week delay in certification” — which is a lie … and is really admission to the crime.
Shortly afterwards Popek gives his overall assessment of Meadows last ditch, hail Mary play to have his RICO Trial severed, and kicked up to the federal circuit:
Mark Meadows did terribly on the stand. He was like Mr. Magoo, bumbling and fumbling around in there.
It's hard to believe — oh no it's not — that this group almost toppled democracy. The group of 19, because when you see them individually or collectively, it is just a motley crew of half-baked, too smart by half, you know criminals.
If you're gonna take the stand Mark Meadows, and you're gonna roll the dice and risk it all, be prepared. Know your documents. Have all the documents with you're name on it, that you wrote, that you know are relevant to the Fake Electors scheme, in front of you in preparation with your lawyer. So when you're asked the question, you don't look like a deer in the headlights, and you know how to respond.

There are other interesting and informative things explained in the clip. I encourage you to watch it.
But bottom-line is: Mark Meadows did himself no favors by being cross-examined in the courtroom, by Willis’ team. By blatantly lying while on the stand, and feigning ignorance about the Fake Electors scheme, he effectively proved to the judge, what a lying conniving double-dealing law-breaker that he really is.
And not a very good crook, at that … not when there is a paper trail a mile long, putting him right in the middle of the overthrow jackpot. You might say he bumbled himself, right into the middle of the Trump Conspiracy. By trying to deny knowing anything about the whole “campaign plot” itself.
