Originally, I was sure that attorney-to-the-stars Joseph Tacopina was dumping Trump as a client, only to delay the proceedings even further.
Then, today, he started talking about WHY he is leaving. And let’s just say, it ain’t helping Trump at all.

Tacopina is a former Brooklyn prosecutor and is known for his representation of high-profile clients, including Michael Jackson, Alex Rodriguez, Meek Mill and Don Imus.
Tacopina over the weekend said three of the trial locations — New York City, Washington and Atlanta — are “not particularly big Trump venues.”
“So that’s going to be something to really have to grapple with there,” he said. “And you can’t say, ‘There’s no way he’ll get convicted.'”
Sounds like Joey is getting cold-feet? Doesn’t like to lose? Doesn’t waste his time on lost causes??
“You have a jury of 12 who’s going to ultimately decide this,” Tacopina continued. “Jack Smith is a federal prosecutor who I knew from his days in Brooklyn. … They’re serious prosecutors, and these are federal cases and you have a jury here.”
Trump faces four felony counts in Washington, D.C., over allegations he was involved in a conspiracy to defraud the U.S. and stood at the center of a campaign to block the certification of votes for President Biden on Jan. 6, 2021.
In a follow-up question, Sharpton asked Tacopina to clarify if he believed they are “good cases” and “not just politics.”
“Look, do I think there’s a political bent to some of this, some of the way this was gone about? Yes, I do,” Tacopina responded. “Do I think these cases are invalid cases? Look, the grand jury voted to indict, and he’s going to have to face a jury in Washington, D.C.”
Al Sharpton had to poke Joey into blaming politics for Trump’s woes.
That says more than just about anything else in that interview……….
Because that is Trump’s raison d'être, and his only hope of getting elected.
Why on earth wouldn’t Mr. Tacopina yell “POLITICAL!!!!” from the mountain-top as he is leaving?

Former Trump lawyer Joe Tacopina joined MSNBC Saturday to explain his recent departure from the ex-president's legal team the day before his latest defamation trial began. The conversation with Rev. Al Sharpton would be what Tacopina deemed his "first and only interview" addressing his move.
“I left the team because it was just my time,” Tacopina said.
“I had to follow my compass, and my compass told me it was my time.”
Tacopina elaborated, saying he left the case for "personal reasons" but did not disclose any specifics. He also decided to take a cordial approach to discussing his former client, slightly jabbing at his former colleagues.
The attorney also said that, while he doesn't find Trump's Manhattan criminal case alleging he falsified business records to be very strong, he has more concerns around the two federal indictments the former president is facing.
“The two federal cases are serious cases,” Tacopina told Sharpton. “And I think they’re, they’re not to be taken lightly.”
He added that it's "absolutely" possible Trump could be convicted in either case.
"So that’s going to be something to really have to grapple with there. And you can’t say there’s no way he’ll get convicted," he said.
Does that suggest that……..someone…….IS taking the cases too lightly?
And are his initials Delta Juliett Tango?
