The New York stadium under construction was estimated to cost 1.4 billion. Of the cost for the stadium, public funds would be contributed amounting to $850 million. The Bills owner would contribute 550 million dollars. Of course this is a drop in the bucket as his net worth exceeds 6.7 billion dollars. The government would be responsible for another 400 million dollars for maintenance and repair.
But according to Change.org: “Just four days ago, NY announced a $800 million cut to children and family services.”
Now New York city is complaining about the cost of arriving immigrants. Maybe they could house them in the new stadium.
