We have seen what happens when unqualified, uneducated, immoral goper’s make laws blindly to satisfy their base.
But what about other state laws? We know there’s those out there who even want to shutdown IVF clinics. Could they go to a state that has laws set at 6-15-etc. weeks and say that applies to the frozen embryos? After all some stay frozen for extended periods. Some saved for later incase the first round has a problem. Don’t say it won’t happen. We still have anti-abortion bounty hunters in Texas even though Texas passed strict laws limiting who can get one. Counties have even enacted laws against travel through their borders against people who might drive through. The personal freedom people make a lot of laws against others freedoms. Without exemptions personhood laws could cause havoc
There are some who foresaw this coming yet couldn’t get the support to stop this. Senators Tammy Duckworth, Patty Murray, and Rep. Susan Wild after the Supreme Court overturned Roe versus Wade in 2022 introduced legislation to address this. They knew without federal protections something like this would happen. Maybe restrictions or banning. Lesson here is listen to Democratic women.

I just read an article saying embryos can be stored up to a decade. Will IVF clinics be accused of neglect when 10 years passes and they are no longer viable?
