I’ve made some mistakes over the course of my life
Perhaps seven, or possibly eight.
Although lamentable, they weren’t preventable
Yet they’ve been used against me by those in the Deep State.
Unlike me, you’ve likely made lots of mistakes
(And some of them were probably real doozies).
But since I’ve always done my best, as I’ve just confessed
You must believe me, not lies by my lackey's and floozies.
These types like to bring great men down
Even though I’m too modest to mention my inclusion
In such a list, although if I'm omitted I’m pissed
Since to dismiss me is a sign of delusion.
What was I saying, anyway?
Oh, yes, some errors have been alleged in the past.
Ignore these scurrilous claims, made by disreputable dames
Or any payoffs, disguised as retainers, quite vast.
Most importantly, don’t connect the dots
That tie together my diverse legal battles.
Whether civil or criminal, they’re sung from the same hymnal
With demands for justice whenever another co-conspirator tattles.
