John Eastman, founding director of the Center for Constitutional Jurisprudence, a law firm affiliated with the fascist think-tank Claremont Institute, has asked to pause his disbarment so he can continue to work as an attorney while legal fees mount in the criminal case connected to his role in Trump's attempted coup. Trump and his campaign have refused to pay Eastman for his services or reimburse his expenses.
