Prosecutors in Poland have initiated a homicide investigation into the killing of Polish national Damian Soból, one of the WCK aid workers who was killed by an Israeli airstrike on a WCK convoy in Gaza.
In a brief statement, the district prosecutor’s office in Przemyśl, the city that Soból came from, announced that it had “initiated an investigation into the homicide of Polish citizen Damian Soból on the night of 1-2 April 2024 in Gaza as a result of an attack by the Israeli Armed Forces using explosives”.

Yacov Livne, the Israeli ambassador, accused Polish politicians who said that the attack was deliberate of anti-semitism. Polish President Andrzej Duda called the comment “outrageous” and said that the ambassador was “the biggest problem for the state of Israel in relations with Poland”.
The Polish government is also demanding compensation from the Israeli government for the family of the murdered aid worker.
Meanwhile, President Biden is awaiting the results of an Israeli self-investigation of the precision strike on three vehicles. That required multiple strikes to ensure all the workers were killed. Really? We all wait with bated breath for the result /s
