Overnight pro and anti Jewish groups clashed at UCLA with many hospitalizations etc. Large groups of people attacking and beating other large groups in the dark, no police. I’d hardly call this peaceful protests. Eventually the police moved in, I’m not sure what the outcome was I guess it’s 3 o’clock in CA. At least they aren’t burning down buildings.
NYC police were invited onto the campus at Columbia and removed and arrested occupiers of some building or another, they’ll remain on campus.
Around the country there are pro Hamas protests, encampments, whatevers, the optics are simply horrible electorally. I’m not sure how many campuses. Most media is asleep at 6 EST, the thing is so widespread also it’s hard to keep abreast. As usual everyone is following on, well, a social media platform.
Here you have people, kids, students as well as non students, dressed in masks and the scarves of people we most often associate with terrorism. Imagine how that all plays with Mr. and Mrs. normal thinking of voting in November.

Best case I guess is that it all ends quickly and another issue captures the nation’s interest in the fall.
Here’s more from Harvard Harris, it’s a poll of the likeability of various institutions. Atifa scores higher than Hamas who definitely wins the cake, and now Hamas is associated with the left fringe of our party.
The coming election is about who pisses you off the least. This doesn’t help.
