We hear
rumors that George Bush may be planning to nominate Peter McPherson for the World Bank. McPherson was Reagan's head of USAID and was the money man for Iraqi reconstruction.
He's known for his support of agriculture (inc. biotech); his efforts to screw the French; and for giving the greenlight to police infiltration of a student group protesting against the Bank when he was head of MSU.
