I just saw a Chris Matthews interview with Ret. General Wes Clark on Hardball, during which Matthews said that-
James Carville had informed him that the Clintons might be pushing Clark as DNC Chair.
Clark ducked the question of course, but used the words 'belief' and 'values' so often during his interview that it appeared he was running for something.
My take -
I'd give Clark a B+ for his performance, and he was unusually candid when explaining the politics in the Bush administration with regards to the Iraq War - however I have to ask, why now and what does Clark really bring to the table? Didn't he become a Dem, like, last year?
Personally I get frustrated every time I hear "The Clintons" have another 'bright' idea...
but then again I'd take Clark over Roemer. Maybe Clark is the next go to guy after Roemer crashed and burned in the blogosphere?????
