The recieved liberal-left wisdom is that the corporate world is conservative. With the exception of the extractive industries and companies on the dole (like Enron and Halliburton), I think the great bulk of American business is liberal in outlook, barring parochial pocketbook issues. I'm just playing devil's advocate here, but its something progressives might factor into their political thinking.
