This is the quote from Shaunti Feldhahn:
"Now that Democrats have followed the leadership over those cliffs and are lying crumpled below, they appear to recognize the need to change."
This is from the Woman-to-woman oped the Atlanta Journal Constitution prints every week.
Shaunti is a bigger hack than Jim Wooten. Dianne Glass is certainly no Democrat, so we actually have no opposing view.
Now the Democrats are certainly not dead. Kerry received over 56 million votes. Democrats gained governorships and state houses. Western states are begining to trend towards Democrats. Pelosi is a great leader, whatever Shaunti's opinion. I believe Daschle was no loss.
However, I need a few people to write a few letters to the editor to the AJC about this. I have written one, but I have been published within 30 days, and I get published enough that they know me. Can some people bring up the conservative slant of both "sides," explain why the Democratic party is not dead, how both these ladies are wrong, and how well the Democrats did do during this election? Mention how we do not need to change but just learn to fight as hard, and perhaps as dirty, as the GOP and its hypocritical religious partners- MM and FOTF? Also perhaps mention that votes are still being counted?
"Thank you for your support!"
