For the vast majority of posters here I would suggest that the priorities for the 2004 Presidential Election are:
- Bush loses.
- Your favorite Democratic candidate(s) wins.
But some get so caught up in the "their favorite candidate" part that they lose sight of the number one priority - getting Bush out.
If my number one priority (Bush loses) is not yours, well, then maybe this post does not apply to you. But please take the poll.
But for the vast majority here that want Bush out we need to work to keep that priority in mind.
Whether your issues with the other guys are process, stand on issues, electability or whatever, keep in mind that splitting the party does harm to the number one goal.
Specious, unfounded attacks on the "other guy" may or may not help "your guy" but they certainly damage the number one goal.
I do not consider myself a Democrat. But I fully intend to vote for the Democratic candidate whomever it may be.
Once the candidate is selected if we can not all pull together it will not matter who the candidate is.
Are you going to support the eventual Democratic nominee? Take the poll....and give us your comments.
