In the spirit of all those "year end lists":
(1) It was Kerry & Gephardt's (maybe even Lieberman's) fault.
They talked Dean down; and they didn't look sincere in their endorsements. Plus Edwards (or Clark) sabotaged Dean as running mate. Probably got put up to it by Gep or Kerry.
(2) Diebold!
(3) The SCLM never gave us a chance.
(4) The Iraqi elections and Saddam trial--no fair!
(5) @#&! Southerners. They act like babies and basically insist we nominate one of them every time. Our Northern votes give their nominees like 250-260 electoral votes, no prob, but they won't give us so much as a measly border state or two unless one of their own is on top of the ticket.
(6) Stupid Americans fall for all that Bush/Rove "security" BS. Can't they see Dean was right: we won't always have the strongest military, and we'd better start trying to get back on France's good side? Don't they see how evil and moronic Bush is? How could anyone miss this?
(7) The DNC. Terry McAuliffe didn't like the way Dean viciously talked down his party organisation for some reason, so he put more resources into down-ballot contests. Traitor!
(8) Hillary & Bill. They want the way clear for her in '08, plus they were behind Clark, so they sabotaged things somehow.
(9) The "new voters" must have gotten lost trying to find the polls, or the "insiders" didn't let them vote or something.
(10) Karl Rove. He's got some kind of pact with the devil--he just can't be defeated!
