Dean has two days for new national polls to show his Gore bounce before his enormous media advantage inevitably begins to shrink. he has around a month before Clark closes the fundraising gap as well. Clark will close, at least in terms of percentage.
Will the new polls all be like what we saw out of Iowa? Who knows, but even so, a bounce this late does not end the race. Clark had a huge four-week bounce from mid-September until mid-October, but we are still a little more than a month from Iowa. It ain't over yet.
