A source on Calpundit.com today reported that all 21,000 jobs created this past month were in fact government jobs. Here's a quote from the article, "Probably not what all those bush supporters had in mind when they pulled the lever for the GOP in 2000." Amen to that. So much for Kerry wanting to expand the federal government. Bush is doing that on his own.
Not only this, but according to the Household Employment Survey, rather than gaining 21,000 jobs, we actually lost 265,000. The article also says that, again according to the HES, 588,000 dropped out of the labor force completely.
This is the same survey that conservatives have always wanted more attention paid to. I agree with the author, somehow I don't think we'll be hearing much about this survey for a while.
Most of this is blatant plagarism from the article, so I will give credit where it is due. THe author's name is Kevin Drum, the sight is calpundit.com.
I will end my post with Mr. Kevin's last line. "But on the good news front, average wages increased 3 cents in February. America is turning the corner folks!"
I really had to laugh reading this. Bush's economic record is on pace to be even worse than his father's. No wonder we're getting the "terrorist, terrorist, terrorist. 9/11, 9/11, God Bless America" ads. The bastard really has nothing else.
