A couple of days ago, I suggested that we obtain and examine precinct-by-precinct results in other Ohio counties.
I've had little time to follow up since then. But I've learned that the Ohio Secretary of State's office will not be publishing -- and may not even possess -- detailed results from the counties until early December. Even then, the results will be sold as a database for about $75, rather than posted on the Secretary of State's website (or so I understand).
Still, the counties have precinct results. (They may be updated as time goes along.)
I propose that we contact county boards of elections, very politely, and see whether they can provide the precinct results -- especially the general statistics (registered voters, turnout, etc.) and votes for President. Ideally, the boards could e-mail the results, or post them on their sites. But at least someone should be able to go to a board and get -- or purchase, if necessary -- a copy.
If anyone is interested, please post a comment indicating which county board(s) of elections you will contact, or have contacted. Also, let us know what the board's response is.
[Update: I have sent e-mails to some people and organizations that might conceivably be in a good position to help. But in the meantime, let's get started. There's no guarantee that anyone else will do this, or that anyone will even reply to my e-mails.]
