The News
Vietnam, Part Deux: Americans be warned: (1) Your government is getting closer and closer to a draft; (2) your loved ones are in an apparently never ending battlefield in Iraq, where an insurgent counter-offensive has begun; (3) your armed forces are beginning to investigate a war crime caught on tape; and (4) on the home front a man tries to burn himself in protest. Can this be spun in a positive light for the administration? The Washington Times is even struggling.

A Lack of Compassion: The continuing genocide, unrest, civil war, strife, and horrid conditions in the Sudan is an ideal place for the people of the world to get together to show compassion and strength of character. Unfortunately, the world seems to have other priorities. The United States and the United Nations need to act now to end the deaths, the suffering, and the violence.
