This non Deaniac is going to lay low. The ups and downs (mostly downs these days) are just not good for the system. Mind you, if Dean scrounges up a win in, oh, I dunno, Vermont, I'll start whooping and cheering, but I'll wait until then.
But it doesn't mean I'm not still angry. I haven't seen an election result so unfair, so unbased on merit, and so disappointing to me since, oh 2002. I don't mean November 2002, I mean August 2002...

So, after poo pooing the first weeks of the first American Idol, I of course settled in to watch it in earnest. My favorite was Tamyra. Beautiful, and (to my ears) the most talented of the bunch. Sure she was a little cool...didn't connect as well with the viewers (as far as I could tell from Television w/o Pity), but boy could she sing. Would it be Tamyra v. Kelly? Everyone thought so.
Then came the fateful week when Tamyra, fighting vocal fatigue, turned in a lackluster performance and Nicky, screeching Nicky, got past her to the next round.
There was no next round for Tamyra (although there was that stint on Boston Public). On the other hand Nicky and Justin are pretty much gone too. Well, what's the moral here? American people, you may not always agree with me but sometimes you're not so bad either? I don't know... Which brings me to the even sillier poll.
