I've written a number of pieces on my blog about the improbably inaccurate Professor of War Architecture who sits at Rummy's right hand. And I've gotten google juice. But I've never gotten google
news juice.
Being number three in a topic search is nice. (As I write, it's number two with a bullet.) However, the blurb, the "text bite", is what I like best. Real content, right there, distilled in a few words. Significant yet obscure information being shuffled, momentarily, to the top of a news pile.
I like the idea of his fans being confronted with something uncomfortable, and perhaps following the link to scoff at the liberal lies. And then being confronted with FACT: the good doctor's own words turned against him. Sw-weet!
And I get write the headline of my own piece when it's picked up for "publication" by Google. Do you think the local McNews paper would cut me that kinda slack? I can hear letters editor, "Dude, your letter's alright, but we do the headings."
News.Google juice is a powerful resource. Be sure to use it for good, not evil.
