I don't get it. I know that McLean county is repub land, but the IL Dems are offering no one up to challenge the seats available in the state house and senate.
We just had someone from the Green Party stop by our house to tell us this fact (which I confirmed by calling the IL Dem HQ) and he was also looking for signatures to get a Green candidate on the ballot.
We signed it. I hope he gets enough signatures. But I know that there is essentially no chance they can get someone elected.
Is it really such a hard thing for Dems, even in the current political environment, to at least run someone as a reason for the repubs to spend money to combat.
Anyone know why there is no coverage here? Or how to get some? The fella on the other end of the phone at the IL Dem HQ didn't seem very interested in helping me.
