Sunday April 11, 2004--President George W. Bush leads Senator John F. Kerry 47% to 44% in the Rasmussen Reports Presidential Tracking Poll.
After trailing Kerry earlier in the week, Bush has gained ground each day since Condoleezza Rice testified before a national television audience on Thursday morning. Rice received good reviews from American voters after delivering her testimony.

As of this morning, the economic confidence of Consumers is at its highest level in two months. The number of people who say President Bush is doing a good or an excellent job managing the economy has increased by 3 percentage points over the past week.
At the same time, the number of people who give the President a "poor" rating for handling the "situation in Iraq" is up six points in from a week ago.
Rounding out the week, Condoleezza Rice received good reviews from American voters following her testimony on Thursday. In fact, the President's Job Approval Ratings have improved each day since the Rice testimony.
