Now that the web-version of the Empriical Cattle Call is complete, I am finally able to calculate media coverage with greater accuracy than ever before (which might not be saying much). Further, starting tomorrow I will be able to provide previous numbers from every day, and begin to accumulate the total historical data for the ECC.
Unfortunately, the blog that the ECC and many other goodies will all be on, The Empirical Left, is still not ready for wider display. Hopefully, it will be up on December 3rd.
Even more unfortunately, from around noon tomorrow until Sunday evening, my brother and I will not be in our apartment, and thus unable to put in further work on the blog. However, because of the new databse web version, I will be able to provide Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday numbers all at once on Sunday evening. Wednesday's figures will be posted before we leave for Syracuse tomorrow.
So, the Emprical Left is coming, but it won't be coming for at least another week. In the meantime, everyone enjoy yet another weekend where capitalism has further encroached upon our historical, spiritual and aesthetic lives.
