OK - I'm sitting outside the US, and thought I'd access the georgewbush.com official website.

I thought it was a fluke, but no. As of last night, the powers that be Rove and his leeches have decreed that people accessing georgewbush.com from outside the US are up to no good. (All the GOP advance ballots must be in, I guess).
This is the president in a can. 18 press conferences, a handful of unscripted appearances before the press. Oaths of allegiance if you want to go to a campaign rally. Fended off walkways on platforms, for the president to look tall on, when he moves through crowds. And threats to anyone who looks as if he or she might ask an unscripted question during a campaign stop (if they are not forcefully escorted from the premises, or arrested).
I have no idea what Cheney and his crew are up to, but it's pretty obvious that he skipped civics class and has very little knowledge of how a democracy functions, in spite of having "attended every Tuesday session of the Senate", as compared to Edwards...
President in a can. No wonder his face was all over the place when he had to endure Kerry unplugged during the first debate. "Huh? How can he be saying these things, and no one is dragging him off?"
President in a can. Bad Tuna.
