First, you will have no right to complain about anything at all for the next four years. No matter the outcome. Voting is your duty and obligation as an American citizen. I don't care about your freedom of speech rights or if voting is not mandatory or compulsive. You had your chance to change things that you are complaining about and you didn't live up to that chance.
Second, I believe that the overwhelming majority of the community here at dKos is ABB and that they will eventually rally around our Democratic nominee. Therefore, if you do not plan on voting in November, I would ask that you at least not attack our Democratic nominee. If you feel that you must denigrate Kerry or whomever the nominee, please join like minded folks at the Bloggers for Bush.
Third, there is an extreme difference between Bush and Kerry. This will not be an election between Bush and Bush-lite. If you claim that, I must say that at best you are misinformed, at worst you are a Republican troll.
I have been all over the map this primary season in which candidate I supported. First it was Gephardt almost a year ago, then it was Dean until mini-Tuesday, and I like Edwards and Clark, and I will be more than happy with Kerry, even if he wasn't my first choice. Therefore, I have no problem with Dean, Clark, Edwards or Kerry supporters. I love their passion for their candidates and the honest debate as to the issues this primary season. But when this contest is over, we must and will support the winner of this race. For those who don't, then simply follow the requests above or join the Bush forces.
