Happy Thanksgiving all. Less than 2 months to Iowa. Barely 3 months until the Super Tuesday primaries. And we're staring at the very real prospect that Howard Dean will become the standard bearer for the Democratic party.
That Dean is the frontrunner is a huge surprise, and were he to win the nomination, that would be an upset of historic proportions. Most of you would be lying if you said you thought, one year ago this time, that Dean would be where he is today.
So I'm curious as to where people were one year ago. No cheating. In 2002, you may not have invested much energy thinking about the 2004 elections, but it had to have crept into your mind at some point, no matter how fleetingly. And someone's name had to creep in more often than others. Maybe your candidate decided not to run. Maybe you learned something about your candidate that has made you change your mind. Maybe you just found out about someone else who you liked better.
But, be honest, who did you think you supported last Thanksgiving?
