LATimes 10/7/05
Update:
I wanted to note here that this LATimes article is a rewrite of
last night's article.
The new information is the Fitz call to Wilson.
Miller must have told Fitzgerald something about Wilson
However, there was an additional sign that Fitzgerald continued to investigate aggressively. He phoned Wilson on Sept. 29, the same day Miller, the New York Times reporter jailed for refusing to divulge her confidential source, was released from jail after agreeing to testify in the case. She testified the next day.
Wilson declined in an interview to discuss the nature of their conversation, but confirmed that it occurred.
Fitzgerald interviewed Miller before he let her out.
Miller was released just before 4 p.m. Thursday after she complied with a judge's order to be interviewed by Fitzgerald and an FBI agent at the jail. Sources said the subject was similar to the questions she was asked before the grand jury. Fitzgerald's purpose was to be sure that Miller did not later contradict herself under oath.

Here's the latest
AP story as well. Confirms Waas's earlier story.
White House Deputy Chief of Staff Karl Rove told
President Bush and others that he never engaged in an effort to disclose a
CIA operative's identity to discredit her husband's criticism of the administration's
Iraq policy, according to people with knowledge of Rove's account in the investigation.
Another Update:
Looks like some have missed the
latest Murray Waas article at the National Journal.
