Disclaimer: I'm a definite Dean supporter, my wife and I have already voted for him here in Michigan, and I'm doing whatever I can for him through the Michigan caucus on Saturday, but I'm also trying to be realistic...
What are everyones' thoughts on a theoretical Edwards/Dean ticket? Dean's small-but-incredibly-devoted grassroots following could be very helpful in offsetting Edwards' financial limitation woes, no? I'm trying to be pragmatic here.
Only negative I can think of is that Dean has, of course, ripped into both Edwards and Kerry for their war/NCLB/Patriot Act votes, but at least Edwards seems to genuinely regret his decisions, as opposed to Kerry who gives every impression of only campaigning against them because it's politically expediant. Edwards did co-write the Patriot Act, but he at least had the good sense to include the sunset provision (which kills the act automatically at the end of this year).
Kerry/Dean is an impossibility, I realize; they dispise each other, and are both from small northeast states anyway.
