I've just made the rounds of the various candidate sites blogs, and I must say they have really gotten their acts together. Kerry's blog has registration, but Edward's blog has registration, nested commenting, prominent linkage, and a simple buddy system. Even Lieberman is now blogging (what took him so long?)
Dean powered to the top partly because of his net savvy and blog, but it seems to me that the blog is rotting from within. It's technically WAY behind the times, it's very hard to follow, there is less and less substantive discussion, more short postings and gotcha comments, and it seems like the technical advice from commenters isn't acted on much more by the campaign. These are issues for the onliners at Dean HQ, so I wonder when they're gonna update that blog structurally? This from a somewhat regular commenter there.
