Jim Davis will be participating in a live web chat today at 2:30. Your participation and recommendation would be appreciated...
The following was cross-posted on the Jim Davis for Governor blog:
Keeping Florida's Promise
After a few months of reading all the activity here on the blog, I have decided it is about time for me to jump into the fray. I am definitely a late comer to this new phenomenon and I have been amazed with the explosion of grass roots activity this medium allows. Matt tells me that there is a great number of you who drop by every day to read his updates. I want to take this opportunity to welcome you and thank all of you for your interest and support.
Additionally, I want to personally invite all of you to participate in a live chat event taking place here on our website on Monday the 6th at 2:30 p.m. Earlier that day, I will be hosting a town hall meeting in Tallahassee to discuss my vision for the future of Florida. We will continue that conversation online with all of you who are unable to join us in person.
The truth is, the folks in Tallahassee have not fulfilled their promises. They have broken their word to our families, seniors, children and workers. That is why I am running for governor of our great state. It's time for Florida to live up to its promise.
On Monday afternoon, March 6th, at Florida A&M University, I'll begin laying out my vision for how we'll keep our promise to the people of Florida. We'll keep our promise to Florida's children to create world-class schools. We'll keep our promise to Florida's seniors so they can enjoy their golden years with dignity and security. We'll keep our promise to all Floridians to protect the quality of life that makes Florida a unique place to live.
If you would like to register in advance, just send an email to info@jimdavis2006.com with your full name and preferred email address.
Mark it on your calendar, prepare your questions, and tell your friends. I look forward to chatting with you on Monday!
