I wish I knew all the code to embed this like all the code kiddies do, but a link to Crooks and Liars will have do to. Neil Young granted an interview with a CNN reporter about his new album. The interview is
here. Neil does a good job rebutting some incredibly stupid questions from the CNN reporter. Aside from perpetuating the impeachment discussion, Neil makes some damn fine points...
*You don't have to agree with the president to be patriotic
*We all have a post 9/11 attitude, his just happens to be different from Bush's.
*He's not doing this to make money but to exchange ideas and communicate, using the right of free speech guaranteed us under the Constitution.
*Lot's of people want to impeach Bush.
*Every person with a conscience thinks about the Iraq War every day and its impact on the world.
*One of the great things about America is that people can disagree with one another and still be friends (this is something I don't feel right now but hope we can regain at some point in the future).
A truly wonderful interview. Please watch this and take strength in Neil's words; at one point he speaks to the camera and you can sense the sincerity in his words. The CNN anchor at the end does a good job dispelling the notion that Young is doing this for publicity.
