My apologies if this has been posted previously. But I was surprised to read through my newspapers over the weekend and find Corzine not the NJ gubernatorial candidate of choice in three of the state's four top papers.
Trenton Times - Corzine

Newark Star-Ledger - Forrester

Bergen Record - Forrester
Asbury Park Press - Forrester
Can't find links for these last two.
I find this discouraging. The basic argument for Forrester seems to be that while politically the editorial boards lean towards Corzine, he's seen as part of the problem for corruption in the state of New Jersey and can't be the solution. Forrester offers the hope of moving away from business as usual.
Corzine was never an exciting candidate for me, and this only gives me greater pause. Not enough to vote for Forrester, however; the deep GOP corruption has soured me too much for that.
