A great amount of heat and light has been generated by the potential candidacy of Howard Dean for the top spot at the DNC. A lot of people have said they will walk away from the party if Ho-ho doesn't get it.
But what if Ho-ho decides against seeking it? Are Kossacks as willing to go to the mat for other reformers, like NDN's Simon Rosenberg? Will DFA become a focus for most of us?
Me, I kinda want Rosenberg even more than Dean. I hold out hope he'd put Howard in some kind of consultative position. But even without that, Rosenberg is intriguing, and I would lobby as hard for him as I would for Dean.
