Thought I'd just recall this because I hadn't seen it diaried yet.
In 1974 John Rhodes conceded to Gov. John Gilligan in the governor's election in Ohio. At that time Rhodes was behind with few votes left to count, but when they all came in he ended up ahead. Rhodes did get to be governor--his concession was meaningless.
Anyone else out there who remembers this?
Just for you consideration, what with all that's going on, and those who might not understand that a concession has no legal bearing.
