It's common on lefty blogs like this one to read the acronym "IOKIYAR". Now that Deep Throat has revealed himself, and the Republican masses have strained themselves to absolve Nixon et al and vilify Felt at the same time, there's one simple question that needs to be asked:
Is the President of the United States above the law?
If your answer is anything other than "No", the border is that way; go find a country that operates to your liking.
Many Republicans clearly believe the answer to the question is "It depends on who is the President." Obviously Nixon was above the law, Reagan was above the law, but Clinton was not. The same goes for our current President, whose entire term of office has been an exercise in undermining as many laws as possible, in as many ways as possible.
This is a question that you must ask to everybody you know who follows our current President. And they deserve the "Get the Hell out of my Country" smackdown if they answer other than "No." And if they answer "No", then they need to explain their love of Nixon and Bush, given their complete disregard of U.S. law.
We can extend this all to include "Are members of Congress above the Law?", and "Are State governors and legislators above the law?" as well...
